The results are in.

I have PCOS.

I honestly don't know what to do. I know we can treat this and this is not the end of the world, but it still was like a punch to the throat to hear that come out of the nurses mouth this morning.

Next appt: 3/26 to discuss our plan on action.

(On a side note: THANK GOD I changed Dr's! We would have been TTC in vain until October had we stayed with him!)

I'm glad you got a diagnosis - not that it's PCOS or anything but that you have answers and didn't stay with the other Dr!

Hopefully I'll have the same results with my next appt! Maybe not PCOS but answers and a plan. I mean we're twins and everything so maybe it WILL be PCOS for me too! ;)

I'm so sorry to hear your diagnosis but am so glad you finally know what's going on. I'll be praying that the doctor can help you and give you the right meds so that you can conceive your next special miracle.
Hugs,
Amanda

I'm sorry :o( But, it is great that you got a Dx. For some people, they can go on metformin and that helps them get their O on track.

I have PCOvaries, but not PCOS - usually there's the options of Met., Clomid, injectibles (all with TI or IUI...or IVF if it comes to that). Sometimes you can be on a combo of met + clomid, for example.

^ Sorry if that's TMI, I just thought it may be helpful. If it's not, I'm sorry.

Anyway, it sounds like you're in great hands and that you're making some great progress. Good luck at the next appt!

I am so happy that you finally have someone that listened to you and found out what was happening. I am sure that is a semi-relief...now on to working on how to treat it. Hopefully your next appointment will give you even more answers!!
Thinking of you...
